Rare heavy rain soaks SZ, HK
Traffic slows as heavy rain rarely seen in Shenzhen this time of the year brought much needed rainwater and cleaner air to the city yesterday. The city's observatory issued a yellow alert for heavy rain at 5:50 p.m. and said the rain was the heaviest in the latter half of November in nearly a decade. In Hong Kong, the territory's observatory issued its first-ever black alert for rain in November. 

Bus crash kills 8 kids
EIGHT primary school students were killed and 39 injured when an unlicensed primary school bus plunged off a bridge in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province yesterday. 


China, India to double trade

City’s first disabled-friendly buses in service
SHENZHEN’S first batch of 25 buses specially designed for the convenience of disabled citizens were put into operation on route No. 59 yesterday, said Huang Haiwen, spokeswoman of Shenzhen Bus Group.
