Antique show

More than 200 antiques from the collection of late calligrapher Shang Chengzuo (1902-1991) are on show.

The antiques on show this time include bronze mirrors and arms from the Shang Dynasty (16th-11th century B.C.), Tang printings, Song (960-1127) ink stones and Qing (1644-1911) paintings.

Chinese roses

on show

The Ninth Chinese Rose Exhibition is being held in People’s Park in Luohu District.

More than 7,000 Chinese roses of 120 types are being displayed. In addition, 60 photos and 34 paintings of Chinese roses are also on show.

Qi Baishi’s paintings at Guan Shanyue Art Museum

Sixty paintings of human figures by late Chinese master painter Qi Baishi are on display through April 8. Most of Qi’s works on display are being shown for the first time.

Charity photo

A charity photo exhibition, To Children in Mountainous Area, organized by Shenzhen Charity Association and China CITIC Bank’s Shenzhen branch, is being held in aid of a school in Guizhou Province.

The 121 photos on show, which have won many national and international awards, have been provided by Shenzhen Photography Association and Foshan Nanhai Photography Association.

Visitors can purchase photos and make donations, with all proceeds offered to a primary school in Guizhou Province.
