Park discounts

for women

To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, local theme parks will offer discounted tickets for women.

On March 8, women will get 50 percent off on tickets to Happy Valley, Window of the World and China Folk Culture Villages. Women born on March 8 will get free entrance to the three parks after showing their identity cards.

Meanwhile, women will have to pay only 66 yuan to enter the Minsk Aircraft Carrier World on March 8. Couples who were married on March 8 can also get free entrance to Window of the World on that day.

In addition, a series of events is being held in China Folk Culture Villages throughout this month, including ikebana shows, dragon boat races and a cooking contest.

Qi Baishi’s paintings at Guan Shanyue Art Museum

Sixty paintings of human figures by late Chinese master painter Qi Baishi are on display through April 8. Most of Qi’s works on display are being shown for the first time.
