Helen Deng SHENZHENERS are reminded to drive carefully as fog continues to cloak the city today and tomorrow. The lowest visibility in the city dropped to 1.2 kilometers at 5 a.m. yesterday, compared with 5 to 8 kilometers on a normal cloudy day, according to the city’s observatory. “It is highly possible that low visibility will continue in the early morning and into the evening,” weather forecaster Zhang Xiaoli said yesterday. Zhang said foggy weather was normal for the city at this time of the year, due to high humidity caused by the clash of cold and warm airstreams. “Last year, there were four consecutive days with visibility below 1 kilometer,” she said. With drizzle, the relative humidity of Shenzhen will reach 70 to 90 percent today.
