The Moon in the Water exhibition
A total of 41 watercolors and prints by German artists Christoph Haupts and Johannes Grützkes are now on show at Shenzhen Fine Art Institute through March 25.
Haupts, 46, earlier staged a one-man exhibition in Shenzhen Fine Art Institute in 2001 after completing his stay in the city as a visiting artist.
An important realist painter in Germany, Grützkes show a humorous understanding of China and its people and a deep admiration for Chinese culture in his paintings on display.

Danish design at OCT Contemporary Art Terminal
The Magic of Danish Design exhibition, to run through March 28, focuses on Danish culture and landscapes, Danish design history, cultural exchange and industrial design.

Films on Japanese women
Films directed by Japanese directors Mikio Naruse (1905-1969) and Kenji Mizoguchi (1898-1956) will be shown every Saturday night this month from March 17. The films are in Japanese with Chinese subtitles.
Naruse directed some 89 films spanning from the end of the silent era (1930) through the 1960s. His contemporaries were Yasujiro Ozu and Kenji Mizoguchi; together they were the three most prominent Japanese directors of the time.
