Shenzhen Citizens’ Art Gallery theater will be hosting 40 weekend shows at low prices over the coming months.

As many as 15 shows have been scheduled for the first half of the year, including folk music, Guangdong opera, symphonies, ballets, choral concerts, dancing and Beijing opera (see table right).

Named “Weekend Theater,” the series of shows is organized by Shenzhen Municipal Culture Bureau. Local performing troupes will be invited, as well as other groups from Guangdong Province.
