AN ideal Bus Rapid Transit service would be expected to include most of the following features :

1. High-frbquency, all-day service.

2. Bus-dedicated, segregated right-of-way.

3. Bus priority/Bus lanes.

4. Vehicles with tram-like characteristics.

5. Off-bus fare collection.

6. Level boarding. Many BRT systems also use low-floor buses (or high-level platforms with high -floor buses) to speed up passenger boarding and enhance accessibility.
