Black Consciousness Day

Citizens participate in the Black Consciousness Day Parade in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Tuesday. More than 20,000 citizens joined the parade celebrating Black Consciousness Day which is a festival commemorating Zumbi dos Palmares, the leader of the revolt against slavery in the late 17th century in Brazil.
