Handicrafts showcase

Guangdong folk culture

A total of 157 pieces of Guangdong handicrafts from the Guangdong Folk Crafts Museum are being exhibited at the Shenzhen Museum.

The handicrafts, including Guangzhou colored china, Shiwan ceramics (from Foshan), Guangdong embroidery, stone sculptures, Guangzhou ivory sculptures, Chaozhou wood sculptures and Foshan wood prints, were selected from a total of 17,900 pieces dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) currently housed at the Guangzhou-based museum.

The majority of the exhibited items are Guangzhou colored china.

Calligraphic works

by local artists

Forty calligraphy works by four Shenzhen artists are being exhibited in a gallery in Shenzhen Book City in Futian District.

The four calligraphers are Lin Xianyue, Zhao Yongjin, Liu Xunyong and Gao Rongming.
