Early in the morning on January 17 this year, my parents woke me with excited voices. Shenzhen’s bid for the 26th Summer Universiade in the year 2011 was successful. I could hear loud cheers and laughter from outside. The whole city was excited.

Shenzhen embraces the world! From then on, every one in Shenzhen has had a big smile on their faces. From then on, everyone has tried to make this host city a warm and civilized place. From then on, I began realizing my own Universiade dream step by step!

In class, I pay much more attention to my teachers because I want to learn as much as possible. With knowledge, I can help more international friends understand China better. With knowledge, I can serve the 26th Universiade more.

When not in class, I spend time getting more information about Universiade history and its events. So I know it was founded in 1949, the same year as the new China was founded. In my daily life, I cherish our clean environment and persuade everyone around me to be protectors of the environment.

Last night, I had a wonderful dream. In my dream, I became an angel, flying over our beautiful city.

The streets, the squares, the sports ground are so tidy and in such good order. All the athletes are trying to reach their maximum potential. Everyone is friendly, generous and open-hearted!

What a great event! What a successful sporting event!

I hope my dream will come true. Let’s all try our best to realize my beautiful dream!
