MARTIAL arts star Jet Li’s third daughter showed some fancy footwork of her own by performing a dance during an Andy Lau concert Monday in Hong Kong.
Jane Li, 7, performed a Latin dance with Hong Kong veteran Lau on Christmas Eve at the Hong Kong Coliseum. After her performance, Jane returned to the VIP enclosure and sat with her famous father to watch the remainder of the concert.
Lau joked during the concert: “Jet, I’m grateful that your daughter danced with me tonight. I’m moved and if I became younger, I would dance with Jane again.”
Action superstar Jet Li, 44, married Huang Qiuyan, a Beijing wushu team member and his “Shaolin Temple” co-star in 1987, with whom he had two daughters, Li Si and Li Taimi. They divorced in 1990 and he married former Hong Kong actress Nina Li in 1999. The couple has two daughters as well, Jane and Jada.
According to Jet Li, Jane is learning Latin dance from China’s “Dancing Queen” Huang Rui and has won several national and overseas dance awards since she was 6.
Lau’s concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum, the fourth of his ongoing series, attracting 13,000 people, including local entertainers.
Lau is set to perform 16 consecutive shows in Hong Kong, following a 15-city mainland tour earlier to promote his latest Mandarin album, “Miracle World.”
