READY, America? Lights, camera, Lohan! The brood that birthed Lindsay is getting ready for a close-up of its own, with E! Entertainment Television confirming, at long last, that mother Dina and kid sister Aliana will be starring in their own reality show for the cable net, set to premiere this summer. Living Lohan will follow the mother and slightly-less-famous daughter duo as 14-year-old Aliana begins her ascent into stardom and attempts to follow in her superstar sibling’s limelit footsteps. The unscripted half-hour series will feature momager Dina as she does her best to strike a balance between family and career, helping her mini-me navigate the waters of budding stardom while doing her best to help the teen avoid some of the all-too-familiar negative trappings celebrity can often bring. While the series will mainly revolve around the Lohan gals, Dina’s sons, Cody and Michael, 11 and 20, respectively, will also appear in the show. The boys will not be joining in as much on the fame-seeking fun, however, as Cody’s preoccupations lean more toward sports and homework than klieg lights, while Michael is an on-the-go college student. Though the series will mostly be set around the Lohans’ home base in Long Island, wherever Aliana’s increasing fame takes her, rest assured, the cameras will follow. The series, which has already begun shooting, is set to chronicle the family’s upcoming sojourn to Las Vegas’ Palms Casino recording studio, where Aliana is set to start work on a would-be solo album. No premiere date has yet been set for the series. (SD-Agencies)
