School shooting

JERUSALEM: Israeli police arrested eight people Saturday in connection with the shooting at a Jerusalem religious school that left eight students dead and 10 wounded. It remains unclear whether the shooter, who entered the school on Thursday evening and killed eight students before being shot dead by an Israeli army officer, had acted alone.

Train-bus crash

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina: A passenger train slammed into a bus at a rural Argentine rail crossing before dawn yesterday, killing 18 people and leaving at least 47 others injured, authorities said.
