SPANISH actress Penelope Cruz has always had a childhood dream of having a huge brood of children, through adoption.

The 33-year-old beauty has always wanted to have a big family, but reveals that it is just not possible at the moment to consider becoming a mother as she is enjoying her jet-setting career too much.

“I’d love to have kids. Maybe I’ll adopt about 20 children — that’s been my dream since I was a little girl,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“I love children, but at the moment I’m happy with my career. If one day I have a baby I’m not going to be able to work like I do now,” she said.

Cruz said she would not be giving up her career completely even if she did choose to have children.

“I’d still want to work when I have children, but not as much as I do now,” she said. (SD-Agencies)
