Trapped sailers

DIVERS found two bodies yesterday inside a Ukrainian tugboat which sank in Hong Kong waters four days ago, a rescue official said, as they searched for 18 sailors believed to be trapped.

Truck accident

FOUR people died and 22 others were injured after a truck plunged into a 100-meter valley in the southwestern province of Yunnan, yesterday, a local official said.

Schools reopen

THE education authorities of Hong Kong announced yesterday that all primary schools and kindergartens in the SAR that had been closed amid seasonal flu outbreak in the city would reopen Monday.

Air terminal

CHINA’S second-largest air terminal building, the T2 terminal at Pudong International Airport, became operational in Shanghai yesterday. Its size is second only to Beijing International Airport Terminal 3.

Drug traffickers

POLICE in the southwestern province of Yunnan broke up a planned drug trafficking scheme that involved 12 suspects and 42 kilograms of drugs, said police sources.
