Exhibition brings together sport, art and culture

Shenzheners who haven’t had the chance to visit the Lausanne-based Olympic Museum can find information about the Olympic Games at an exhibition that opens today.

Organized by the International Olympic Committee, the Chinese Olympic Committee, and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, the exhibition, entitled “Olympic Treasure Exhibition China Tour,” features 731 items from the Swiss museum’s collection, including Olympic medals, torches, mascots, art products, films and photographs, as well as souvenirs.

Dates: April 7-12

Tickets: 60 yuan (30 yuan for students, teachers, the disabled and residents aged between 60 and 70; free for children under 1.1 meters and seniors above 70). Tickets can be purchased at the exhibition venue or by calling 11185 for free delivery.

Venue: Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, Fuhua Road 3, Futian District (福田区福华三路深圳会展中心)
