See article in April 2 NIE front page Girls more likely to blogQuestions:Do you have a blog? What kinds of blogs do you like to read? Why?

It’s true that starting a blog or even a Web site has become more common nowadays, especially among girls. Even an ordinary schoolgirl like me has a blog.

In our school’s Internet lab, the number of the girls who update their blogs or read their friends’ blogs is more than boys, who just watch videos or read e-books on Web sites.

I think it’s because girls love to put their own photos on the blogs. They dress in pretty outfits and pose in a cute way. When they eat out, they also take pictures of food and post the photos on their blogs.

Girls love to display themselves, especially on the Internet. In this way, they feel more confident.

I don’t have my own blog now. As far as I’m concerned, writing a blog is a waste of time and energy.

Since I’m in a boarding school and my major task now is to pass the National College Entrance Examinations (NCEE), I have hardly any time to set aside for writing a blog.

Sometimes when I wanted to do something to relax, I write in my private diary. If I had my own blog, I have to update it regularly and decorate it to make it popular.

Honestly speaking, I like to read my classmates’ blogs, because I’m very curious about their lives.

Their blog topics vary greatly, from personal events to comments about the latest news. I’m always surprised to find that there is a hidden side to them which they reveal in their blogs.

Additionally, to keep track of some stars, I read their blogs for detailed information.

Actually, reading others’ blogs is just a way of satisfying my natural curiosity.

I started my own blog in August 2007 and have since updated it very often. I also like reading others’ blogs, especially the blogs in which people talk about different aspects of their daily lives.

Some people make use of blogs to record life, while some like to attack other people in their blogs. Some people don’t want to speak face-to-face with others, so they blog about what they are too shy to say.

蔡仲杰 前海路星海名城6-6-2B

I am not really fond of the idea of recycling textbooks.

The recycling program was introduced to save money. However, if the books passed on to other students are in poor condition, it would give recipients the feeling that they are not important.

Also, previous users might write something in the books, which will make it difficult for future users to learn properly. In addition, it is unfair for the students who pay for new books to be offered old books.

In conclusion, the recycling program is not worth carrying out at present.
