Former Israeli President Moshe Katsav (C) arrives at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court accompanied by his wife Gila (2nd R) on Tuesday. Katsav announced that he was backing out of a plea arrangement that required him to confess to sexual offenses against former female employees. The former president of Israel said he had decided to go to trial to clear his name instead.
