A PROPERTY Tour, tailored for Shenzhen expatriates, will head to Shekou this Saturday afternoon.

Co-organized by the Shenzhen Daily and China Merchants Property Consultants (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. (CMPC), the tour aims to help expats find their ideal homes, meet property owners and deal with property transaction procedures.

An increasing number of expatriates have chosen to settle down in the city in the past few years as Shenzhen has put in great effort to build itself into an international city. The city's foreign residents need comfortable apartments that make them feel at home. However, they were able to find little English-language information about property leases and sales in local newspapers until this year.

The tour, scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, is now inviting 20 expats to visit luxury housing communities such as Mont Orchid Riverlet and Coastal Rose Garden in Shekou, Nanshan District, said organizers.

Featuring a comfortable bus ride, apartment visits, a trip to Nanshan Mountain, afternoon tea and cocktails as well as an overview of the general housing situation in Shekou and introduction to CMPC properties, the tour is expected to provide a relaxing, pleasant and informative experience to participants.
