A SHANGHAI collector, Zhao Shanrong, donated 560 stock notes and other articles to the Shenzhen Museum at a ceremony conducted Friday.
The donated articles help to record the development of the stock market in China. They will be held by the museum as part of the cultural relics collections to celebrate China’s opening up and economic reforms over the past three decades.
“The stock notes I have collected over the past 16 years bear witness to the country’s opening up and economic reforms,” said Zhao, who is in his 50s.
“Through my donation, I hope people in Shenzhen will learn more about the historic changes the country has gone through in the past 30 years.”
Zhao’s donation includes four categories, such as stock notes, purchasing certificates, payment receipts and stock transaction cards.
