MANY parents and their children living in Jingshan Villas had a pleasant time during the Happy Olympics’ Family Activity held Saturday morning.

Under a sunny sky, children played Olympic Trolley, Shooting, Throwing a Ring as well as soccer and basketball games, at the Shekou International School Sports Center.

No matter where they were from, they all came together to enjoy themselves just as under the slogan of the Beijing Olympic Games: “One World, One Dream.”

Seeing the smiling faces of their children, parents said they were unable to express their happiness in words. A Jingshan tenant who identified himself only as Wang, said the games day was meaningful and he hoped that there would be more such activities. Marcie Bayles, an American mother of five, has lived in China for four years. She said she liked spending time with her children and cherished every minute with them.
