THE city’s theme parks, including Window of the World, Shenzhen Safari Park, Happy Valley and Splendid China-China Folk Culture Villages, will stage various colorful activities during the May Day holiday this week

Window of the World will stage a Greek Festival, which will enable visitors to watch and experience a series of traditional sports and acrobatics from Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

On May 1, a special animal sports event will be held at Shenzhen Safari Park, during which more than 100 animals of various species will take part in sports such as running, weightlifting, wrestling, climbing, swimming, boxing, diving, skating and chess.

Hip-hop performers from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Wuhan, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Canada and South Korea will take part in competitions from May 1 to 3 at Happy Valley.

From May 1 through June 9, Chinese kung-fu shows will be staged at Splendid China<2022>China Folk Culture Villages.
