Han Ximin THE Fourth China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair, which opens today at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, is more international than ever with the debut of an international culture hall and participation of more overseas buyers. Around 12,000 buyers, 3,000 more than the previous year, from 46 countries and regions will attend the four-day event, which also has 24 subvenues across the city, Shenzhen Vice Mayor Yan Xiaopei said at a news conference Thursday. The main venue, which has an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, will showcase different kinds of Chinese cultural products, animation technologies, creative designs, and latest publications. According to Yan, some organizations in Japan, Malaysia, the United States and France have signed agreements to act as agents to promote China’s cultural products overseas.
