U.S. president-elect, Barack Obama, announced more White House staff Wednesday, including Chris Lu, Obama’s Chinese-American classmate in Harvard Law School, who will be Cabinet secretary in the new administration.
Lu has worked for Obama in a number of roles over the past four years. He is currently executive director of the Obama-Biden Transitional Project, managing day-to-day operations.
Other White House staff to be appointed after Obama takes office Jan. 20 include David Axelrod, senior adviser to the president, Lisa Brown, staff secretary, and Greg Craig, White House counsel.
Axelrod, who has been a political consultant for many prominent Democrat politicians and served as a key strategist during Obama’s campaign, was considered having played an important role in Obama’s election.
Craig and Brown both worked for former President Bill Clinton’s administration, as a special counsel and counsel to the vice president, respectively.(Xinhua)
